Keep your troubles to yourself, don't be a drain
Drag your aching feet but make sure you stay upbeat

What do you mean you're not sure you can get out the door?
Fresh air will do you good, just you wait and see
Walk off some of those kilos, get some vitamin D

Stay calm and cool when you're feeling the heat
Stay upright and strong even when you're weak
For every bright side they say there's a dark
but you're only allowed to show the light in your spark

Remember honesty's the best policy but when they ask "how are you?"
Lie politely through your teeth "I'm great. And you?"
Don't dare tell them the truth, don't be a dramatic so and so
because even though they asked they don't actually want to know!

When it comes to social media there's an unspoken rule
That separates the cultured from the ignorant fool
Remember "only positive comments are allowed on this site"
Because negative is wrong and positive is right

so the best you can do is whatever floats your boat
and I am one who likes to have my say
and the ones that like me, like me that way
so to the ones who like me, yes I've fallen again
I'll just have a little cry and then I'll count to ten
I'm sorry I'm such a mess here on the floor
